As a first time pregnant girl, I can't stand how people suddenly feel free to comment on your weight. It's fine for my friends to say things, because they are my friends. However, when acquaintances or basic strangers ask you if you're sure your not having twins (after two ultrasounds) because you've gotten so big already, it can be frustrating. It is funny how pregnancy makes people more free to say things, when the hormones of pregnancy should make people back off!


my teacher just went through almost the same thing. People (some teachers!) kept saying "Wow. You're bigger than my DIL!" She said she almost knocked her out (she probably would have if her husband wasn't the security guard at school, hehe).
