Hey Poncho - let's Ride!!

I got some great yarn for a great price yesterday for my poncho and I'll be starting it today - yippeee!! The nighttime is starting to carry a chill, so I probably should be able to wear it pretty soon. Of course, I'm from Texas, so 65 degrees is sweater weather to me!! I'll post pictures once I make some progress...

Typepad to the rescue!! The support staff helped me solve my uploading problem, so here's a chicKami progress pic and a peek at my new stitch markers - groovy huh?!

Dialup Schmialup

I have finished chicKami - yay!! It really turned out well and fits perfectly - great pattern Bonnie! If only I could figure out how to upload my pics - they never complete loading with this dialup poo. If any of you guys have ideas - please send them my way.
I've also moved again - this time to Annapolis. It's very nice here but the mosquitoes are eating me alive!! (Guess I'll just have to stay inside and knit - darn...) And I've got just the projects to get to work on... Broadstreet Mittens for my hubby, the second of my self-patterning socks, and I'm joining Carrie's poncho knitalong - invited myself thank you very much! Let's see, is that enough work for now?? I can see those needles smokin' already!

So, I'm all moved to Baltimore - I don't have my cable internet connected yet, so I can't post any pics until that's done. I'd forgotten how slow dialup is!! I'm knitting ferociously on chicKami, with hopes I get her done before she's out of season!! The rest of my projects are still buried at the bottom of my pile o' stuff in my Jeep, so they're out of commission at the present, but never fear, I will pick them up again... Knitting idea for the week: Pedicure + Project = Pure Pleasure!! So take your work in progress and go get your toes done!

On the Road Again

I'm hitting the road today for Baltimore, so there maybe a delay in my posts. I do, however, plan to knit durng the drive up, so maybe I can get more of chicKami done! Gotta go-
